Every pulled pork sandwich should be balanced with a delicious heaping of coleslaw. I tried something different with my coleslaw, Apple Crisp Coleslaw. This is perfect for the Fall season. Recipe for this pulled pork sandwich will be on the blog this week.
Apple Crisp Coleslaw
Ingredients
- 1/2 of a red apple (diced)
- 1/2 of a green apple (diced)
- 1/2 bag of shredded cabbage
- 1/2 bag of coleslaw
- 1/2 tsp of seasoned Rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp – 1 tsp of Snapple apple juice (depends on sweetness you’re looking for)
- 1/2 tsp of Sweet Heat Mantis bbq dust (seasoning) or bbq seasoning of choice
- 1/4 tsp of honey
- 1 -2 tbsp of mayo (depends on desired wetness of the slaw)
Directions:
Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl. Stir and refrigerate for a few hours.
