Pizza Wings

Pizza Wings combined your two favorite things that you love about Pizza night, Wings and Pizza. This is a great Low-Carb option because there is no bread. Yes you heard me right, no bread.

Ingredients
  

  • Onion Powder Season to taste
  • Garlic Powder Season to taste
  • Kosher salt Season to taste
  • Italian Seasoning Generous amount
  • Smoked Paprika Season to taste
  • 14 oz Roasted Garlic Pizza Sauce
  • Black Pepper Season to taste
  • 1 - 2 lb Chicken Wings
  • 5 oz Pepperoni Deli Slices Use desired amount
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 10 oz Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
  • Smoked Maldon Salt
  • Fresh Basil leaves
  • 4 Mini Cast Iron Skillets

Ingredients:

  • Roasted Garlic Pizza Sauce

  • Pepperoni Deli Slices
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
  • Smoked Maldon Salt
  • Fresh Basil Leaves

Directions:
  1.  Season the wings with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper and kosher salt.
  2. Add wings to a ziplock bag, cover the wings with the Garlic Pizza sauce.
  3. Seal the bag. Marinate overnight.
  4. Smoke the wings at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
  5. After 30 minutes turn the grill up to 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
  6. Remove from the grill.
  7. Place the wings in mini cast iron skillets.
  8. Add sliced pepperoni to the skillet.
  9. Add the fresh mozzarella cheese. Tear into pieces.
  10. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella on top.
  11. Place the cast iron skillet back to Traeger Grill. Set the Traeger at 500 degrees for 5 - 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  12. Remove from the grill. Finish with Smoked Maldon Salt.
  13. Garnish with Fresh Basil.
  14. Enjoy.
