Da’Stylish Foodie Turns 3

I can’t believe it’s been 3 years since the creation of Da’Stylish Foodie. It’s been an incredible 3 years.

3 Years that have been filled l with plenty of ups and downs. Everything has not been perfect, there have been some challenges and lots of learning experiences.

I started Da’Stylish Foodie 5 months before our big move to Houston. Transitioning to a new city as an already established food blogger in a different area is very challenging. Because it’s like starting all over.

After prayer and consideration, I transitioned into a Lifestyle Blogger and expanded my brand into so much more. Boy, I am I glad that I did!

I am so proud of how far I’ve come in a few short years where I’ve only been blogging part time because of the kiddos schedule and hubby’s schedule.

God has blessed me in so many ways in just a few short years.

I’ve had so many fun times. From all expense paid trips, from cruises to land media trips and international media travel trips.

Met many cool people along the way.

I’ve been blessed to see many places and write about it.

Travel Blogging is one of my favorite things to share.

Even had the opportunity to attend some fun family media events.

I’ve partnered with lots of brands both new to me and some I grew up eating.

Too many to list!! How awesome is that??!!

I’ve had the opportunity to meet some of the most amazing Food Celebrities that we love and enjoy on Food Network.

Did I mention that I was a Food judge on an International TV Show?

Not to mention dined at some pretty amazing restaurants.

Da’Stylish Foodie has grown to so much more than I could have imagined over these 3 years.

This industry is not all glitz and glamor, but it’s a lot of fun and filled with lots of opportunities.

As a black woman, it’s taken longer to get some of the opportunities but I’ve come to the realization that delayed doesn’t mean denied. Everything happens in God’s own timing.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ( Jeremiah 29:11).

I write today encouraged, hopeful and excited about what the future holds. I can’t wait to see what 2021 holds for me. Believing for great blessing, wealth and open doors that I couldn’t even imagine.

I have to give a big thank you to my husband and kids. I wouldn’t be where I am without the love and support of them.

Thanks guys I love you’ll so much.

I couldn’t celebrate the way I wanted to on a vacation getaway but I still wanted a delicious cake.

Cake is courtesy of Butter Baby Bakery. Butter Baby Bakery is a local company known for their cakes that are stylishly designed. They strive to make the cake dreams of their customers come true. regardless if you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, fun event or whatever your event Butter Bakery wants to partner with you.

I spoke with them about my blogiversary and they were there to speak with me about what I wanted.

I wanted something small but yet beautiful. Man did Butter Bakery come through. A gorgeous cake design exclusively just for me. What I love about them, they create cakes that are always unique and different than the one before.

The cake was visually stunning. A 4” designed cake with black, gold and blush . The exterior boast of beautiful gold painted fold. The touches were unique, gorgeous and beautifully done.

It was almost too pretty to eat.

The inside was a strawberry shortcake. The cake was absolutely delicious. I love that the icing wasn’t overly sweet. The inside was moist  and had great flavor. Including delicious strawberries. I was very pleased.

Butter Baby Bakery offers much more. I would recommended visiting their Instagram: https://instagram.com/butterbabybakery?igshid=16x6xcxe5y4u0

Thanks Butter Baby Bakery for a flawless design. I sure appreciate it.
