A few weekends ago, my husband and I attended a marriage conference. We stopped in on our way to our hotel at Warehouse 72 for a Lunch Date.

I will share more about this marriage conference in an upcoming blog post.

Warehouse 72  is a modern bistro and bar serving up some incredible bites. Including pizza, pasta, steak, chicken and much more.

As we approached the restaurant we immediately noticed the nice outdoor space at Warehouse 72.

A great area to hang with friend or family over yummy food.

The restaurant was visually stunning. With a modern industrial vibe and lovely accented pieces.

Warehouse 72 has some incredible artwork throughout the restaurant.

We were seated and waited for our waiter to come. He arrived very quickly and let me just say he was so funny and knowledgeable.

He took our drink order and allowed us time to peruse the menu.

I ordered a mocktail that he created himself. It was pretty good. It was a virgin version of Sunset Beach. Not bad at all.

We started with the Black Truffle Arancini. This is a fried risotto ball with housemade mozzarella and parmesan.

A simple, clean presentation but the Arancini was delicious. Fried to perfection.

We love Seafood, so we tried the Broiled Gulf Oysters. Incredible!!

The Broiled Gulf Oysters consisted of roasted piquillo (peppers) butter, lemon, roasted garlic and toasted baguette. Superb!!

Now time for the main attraction, Entrees.

My husband ordered the Blackened Redfish. This dish was visually gorgeous. We eat with our eyes first and this dish was very welcoming.

The Blackened Redfish was served on a bed of whipped potatoes and charred corn succotash. Garnished with a grilled lemon and microgreens. Stunning.

The fish was prepared perfectly. The flavors worked well together. Really good. He loved his dish.

I ordered the Mac & Cheese with Maple Glazed Pork Belly. The dish consisted of crispy pork belly with a maple glaze. Served with a smoked gouda and cheddar cheese mac and cheese.

Not your simple mac and cheese, but an elevated dish.

The overall dish was an elevated form of comfort food. Made you feel good while eating. The mac and cheese was really yummy. Creamy goodness.

The pork belly was good as well, but some of the pork belly pieces were not crispy. Which could be do to the uneven pieces of pork belly. Pork belly is best when crispy.

But the overall dish was good.

We finished with the Lemon Icebox Tart. Oh my word. Absolutely scrumptious.

Made with a gorgeous, tasty sauce, crumbled speculoos, the lemon cream was served in a cookie like tart topped with blueberries, meringue cookies on top. Garnished with mint.

This dish was visually stunning.

Let me say this, I love a good dessert. Any restaurant that can serve quality appetizers and entrees plus desserts are top of my list. Warehouse 72 does it all! The dessert was visually stunning and absolutely delicious.

Overall our dining experience at Warehouse 72 was fantastic. From the service to the food. Everything was top notch. This was one of the best Lunch Date/Date Night places we’ve been to since moving to Texas.

The food was phenomenal.

We will definitely be dining there again.
