On Easter day we always eat out. We don’t have family here so we find a great restaurant to enjoy as a family. This year for Easter we decided to grab lunch at Passerella. Passerella is located in Townelake.

As were approaching the area our little son noticed the Astros’ mural. A great spot to grab a photo. Located right by the restaurant.

Passerella Ristorante and Wine Bar is an Italian Restaurant that offers an elevated dining experience. Serving dishes with fresh ingredients.

This was my very first time at Passerella. My daughter and hubby have dine here before for one of their daddy/daughter dinner date. They loved it so much, they insisted that I had to try it.

My husband made reservations for us for Easter lunch.

As we walked up to the restaurant, I immediately noticed the lovely view from the Patio. Townelake has many restaurants that have beautiful views of the water. Passerella was no different.

We were greeted by a super friendly crew that welcomed us into the restaurant. They seated us immediately. The table we were seated at was near the window with a lovely interior view of the water. Great spot.

Our waiter arrived and took our drink orders. I asked him about the cocktail menu and if any of the drinks could be created as a mocktail? He said sure, we can do that for you.

He arrived with a lovely Blueberry Lemon mocktail.

The waiter also arrived with housemade bread. A beautiful loaf of bread. The bread was served hot and absolutely delicious.

We started with the Frito Misto. This dish was superb. It consisted of Fried Calamari, Shrimp, Fried lemon wheels, white anchovies, arugula and a lemon herb vinaigrette. Absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend this appetizer.

It didn’t take us long, everyone knew pretty quickly what they wanted to order.

Our son went with a kid’s pepperoni pizza. He loved his pizza.

I ordered the Mama’s Spaghetti and Meatballs. The meatballs were made of Waygu Beef. Served in a pomodoro sauce with bucatini pasta. Finished with fresh grated parmesan cheese and cracked black pepper. A pretty good dish.

The meatballs were incredible. Well seasoned, moist and cooked to perfection.

My husband ordered the Garlic Shrimp Scampi. Made with pan-seared gulf shrimp, broccolini, roasted garlic, parsley, red pepper flakes and garlic cream. An excellent choice, a well-balanced dish.

Our daughter ordered Chef Ed’s 7 Layer Lasagna. This lasagna was made with ricotta cheese, italian cheese blend, classico meat and fresh basil. SUPERB! This lasagna was delicious. She cleaned her plate.

The Lasagna was finished with fresh cheese and cracked pepper.

OMG Passerella has the biggest cracked pepper mill in the world. WOW! Too funny!

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The waiter was really good. He was friendly, attentive and on top of things. The entire staff made us feel welcome.

The food was delicious. Everything arrived pipping hot and nicely presented.

I love that Passerella is a perfect spot for a Date Night, Dinner with friends or lunch with your family. They were super kind to our kiddos.

The restaurant is beautiful as well. With a great patio. Be sure to sit where you can enjoy the amazing view of the Lake. Thanks Passerella for an amazing dining experience.
