Lobster rolls are one of my favorite Summer eats. I love a good buttery lobster roll. Kickback by the pool and enjoy this delicious meal. Your family will thank you.
Garlic Butter Lobster Rolls
Ingredients:
- Garlic & Herb Butter (2 sticks)
- Chives (Garnish)
- Lobster tails (4)
- Slap ya Mama Seafood Boil (1-2 cups)
- Black Truffle Waffle Chips (optional)
- Sliced pickles (optional)
- Top sliced hot dog buns (Pepperidge farm)
Directions:
- Add a pot of water to the stove top to boil.
- Cut the chives into small pieces for garnish. Set aside.
- Once the water is boiling add in the slap ya mama seafood boil seasoning.
- Once boiling again, add in the lobster tails.
- Boil for 5 – 8 minutes or until the Lobster tails are bright red and the meat is opaque.
- Add in ice cubes to cold water.
- Once the lobster tails are cooked, add to the ice bath. Only to shock the tails (stop the boiling process), 1 minute or so.
- Remove from the water.
- Use kitchen shears and cut a slit long ways down the lobster tails.
- Remove the lobster tail from the shell.
- Cut the lobster tail into bite size pieces.
- Toast the hot dog buns in a toaster oven.
- Melt the sticks of butter in a pot.
- Use a big serving spoon and dip the lobster tail pieces into the butter. 1 minute or so.
- Remove the lobster pieces with some of the butter.
- Place the buttery pieces onto the bun.
- Garnish with chives. Serve with black truffle chips and a pickle.
- Enjoy.
