This year for Christmas my family and I are exploring the different options for Christmas Fun in the Houston area. This is only our 2nd Christmas here in Houston.
Being in such a big city has it’s benefits, there is so much to do in driving distance.
We visited the Zoo Lights. It was our first time at the Houston Zoo.
As we arrived the crowd was growing at a fast rate. We purchased our tickets online so we were able to walk right in.
Lovely views all around.
So many spots to take photos with your family or of the Light displays.
Don’t want to take your own pictures? No worries there are photographers that are available to take photos for you in different locations.
Hot Chocolate is something most kids love, so it was only fitting to have a spot to purchase Hot Chocolate.
We ordered some hot chocolate for our kiddos.
The Decorative cups were well made and very sturdy. They were well insulated also.
A beautiful Tall Christmas tree was the focal point of the entry way. Absolutely gorgeous.
The displays were stunning.
One of my favorite ones was the JOY display. The line was long for this one.
The Courtyard area with the Oak Trees were trimmed with lights.
The Houston Zoo even had random fire pits where you could purchase the ingredients for S’mores.
Love this idea.
Peace and Love
One of my favorite displays were the Bright Light Pathway.
SO bright, colorful and fun!
There were so many beautiful displays.
The Houston Zoo is a great place to take the kiddos to see lights and enjoy a night out.
There were a few Food Trucks if you would like to grab something to eat.
As well as a cafe, with a great spot to take a picture in a Sleigh.
One of my favorite areas of the displays were in the Coca Cola area.
So cool and was definitely cute.
I also loved the adorable Flower area. Very bright and super cute.
Start a new Holiday tradition like we did and Sip your hot chocolate as you stroll through the Beautiful Houston Zoo and enjoy the sights and signs of the Holiday Season.
