A few weekends ago my family and I traveled to Wallis, TX.  We traveled to Wallis, TX to visit Blessington Farms.

Blessington Farms is a place to enjoy Texas Adventures. A Country atmosphere that is filled with lots of fun like a Pumpkin Patch, Fruit Picking, Fishing and so much more.

We were there for their annual Pumpkin Patch that is held from September – November. Here is a link to the Blessington’s Farms post.

After leaving Blessington’s Farms we were hungry.

On the way to Blessington’s Farms, we saw Anthonie’s Market Grill. The outdoor space was visible from the road and drew us in.

We arrived at Anthonie’s around 5 pm. The place was packed and rocking!

It was a gorgeous day so we sat outdoors.

Anthonie’s has the most amazing outdoor space. There is a patio area that is wide opened as well as Picnic area which had the best vibe. Oh my goodness. It was stunning and welcoming.

I loved it so much, I wanted my husband to go build me one just like it outside our home.

Our waiter arrived almost immediately to take our drink orders.

The menu had lots of amazing items to choose from.

We started with the Campfire Yeast Rolls. The yeast rolls were served with Garlic Butter and Brown Gravy.

The rolls were served pipping hot and absolutely perfect with the garlic butter. We couldn’t stop eating it. Oh my gosh. So yummy.

Parmesan Fries the fries were tossed  in rosemary garlic butter with minced chives. Served with savory chipotle ketchup and fresh garlic aioli.

Ok the fries were amazing. So delicious. The dipping sauce were a perfect combination. So good.

The little man ordered the kid’s Cheese Pizza. The Cheese Pizza was huge. He absolutely loved his Pizza.

Baby Girl ordered the Gumbo with Rice and Crackers. The Gumbo included Chicken, Andouille, Crab Claws, Shrimp. The gumbo was delicious. Flavorful and the bowl was filled with seafood and meat. It was a very generous bowl of Gumbo.

My husband ordered the Smoked & Braised Berkshire Pork Shank. The shank was perfectly prepared. Nice and tender. Served with Fried Mac and cheese, braised bacon collard greens.

This dish was amazing! A hearty, well thought out, incredible dish. Reminded us of home for sure. Everything was superb! The components of this dish all worked perfectly together.

The fried mac n cheese was crazy delicious. The overall components of this dish were incredible together.

I ordered the Shrimp & Grits. Gulf Shrimp with Asiago grits, bacon bourbon marmalade and green onions.

A beautiful dish that was packed with flavor. A little different flavor profile than we are use to, but it was very good.

We couldn’t leave without trying the Desserts. Boy am I glad we did.

The Fresh Key Lime pie was amazing. Made with graham cracker pecan crust and whipped cream. The Key lime pie was delicious. A good balance of sweet and sour. DELICIOUS.

Our kids tried the Dekker’s Famous Chocolate Cake. This chocolate was huge. The chocolate cake was topped with a vanilla bean sauce, chocolate sauce and strawberries and whipped cream.

A rich, delicious dessert that is definitely a shareable dessert.

Looking for a spot to hang out with friends and family, this is place for you. Go and stay for hours.

The menu has something for the entire family.

Overall Anthonie’s Market Grill completely knocked our socks off. From the amazingly tasty dishes to the atmosphere, vibe and service of the restaurant.

I love that the outside area is so open. A nice place for the kids to play. Enjoy the gorgeous weather we have been having and/or just catch up with friends.

We would definitely go back again and again because the food and vibe is just that good. I think that Anthonie’s is a hidden gem.

Thanks Anthonie’s for the amazing service and delicious food.
