Box Combo at Home
When you hear the word Box Combo, what comes to mind? For me it’s Raising Canes. I love Raising Canes. For those who don’t know Raising Canes originated in Baton Rouge, LA. Now I have to say, Canes is better in Louisiana than here in Texas. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking with it.
Though I love Canes, I don’t eat it often. One day, I was craving it and decided to make my own version at home. This meal was a hit with the entire family. Much cheaper than picking this up at Raising Canes.
Fly By Jing Noodles
I had the honor of collaborating with a company called Fly by Jing. Jing founded Fly By Jing in 2018. Her company was inspired by the amazing flavors of my hometown Chengdu and its famous fly restaurants— These were soulful hole-in-the-wall eateries. Our week days can be very busy. I’m often looking for ways to feed my crew quickly. Not to mention in an inexpensive way. Eating fast food isn’t healthy and can be very costly. I love to dine out but I want to spend our money on dining out not jug picking up food to go.

Seafood Pasta Salad with Golden Steer
Golden Steer has new seasonings , the Lemon Pepper Spice Blend and the Salt and Pepper Seasoning Blend. I used these two in my NEW recipe, “Seafood Pasta Salad”. This pasta salad is so easy to make and it can be made ahead of time on busy nights. The perfect 30 minutes or less meals.

I used the sauce on my Baked BBQ Ribs. These ribs were so easy to prepare. I prepared these in the oven. So anyone can make these fall off the bone ribs.

Here is one of my favorite things to drink from Starbucks, Mango Dragonfruit Refresher. Did you know that Starbucks now sells the Starbucks Refresher Concentrate in stores.
I ordered the Starbucks Refresher for me to try at home. I made my own version of the drink with a twist.
Salmon Bites with Afia
As the new year is here, we are working to be more mindful in our meal preps. This is a new healthy recipe, Salmon bites Mediterranean bowl. Chicken Shawarma with Afia
We are in the season of busy. Both of my kids are currently in their Fall Sports which means a change in our schedules. One thing I work hard to do is making sure we have home cooked meals nightly. It requires planning on my part to make sure this happens.I had the opportunity to work with a new brand called “Afia”. Afia is company that creates Mediterranean Spices. The spices are all non-go, no preservatives. Available in 3 spice blends, Shawarma, Za’atar and Baharat 7 spice.Today’s recipe is Chicken Shawarma Skewers with the Shawarma seasoning.
