Lasagna Soup

It’s been cold and rainy here in Houston. Saturdays are my day of rest. It’s my day that I intentionally take moments to be still and stop from all of the busyness. It’s something that I’ve done for years and really centers me as we enter a new week. It’s also my day to catch up on my TV shows and watch movies I haven’t watched yet. I hope that your Saturday is comforting, calm and rewarding.

I love comfort food. This Lasagna soup was comforting, warm and cheesy. I made my first Lasagna soup over a year ago. This soup has since gone viral and there are so many recipes all over the internet.

My husband grew up the same way and he is always happy when I make this dish for him. I’m not raising my kids that way, but we do love White beans occasionally. One of meat that we love in our White beans is pork tails. I know everyone won’t appreciate this delicious delicacy. But don’t knock it till you try it. 😂😂😋😋

Crispy Chicken Bowls

I love getting my kids involved when I’m preparing meals or planning my menus.

I was talking with them about this dish that I wanted to create. My Crispy Chicken bowl is a playoff of the popular KFC Famous chicken bowl.

My teenager loves spicy chips. She had a bag of funyuns and wanted to make spicy chicken nuggets instead of the regular crispy chicken. I was like cool deal, let’s try it.
