Looking to keep it simple this Super bowl! This Triple Meat Italian Sub sandwich is the way to go. This is my version of an Italian Sub sandwich. Loaded with Turkey, Ham, Colby Jack cheese, pepperoni and provolone cheese with mayo, spicy mustard topped with a mixture of lettuce, tomatoes, Italian jalapeños, Italian seasoning and Italian dressing. All on a toasted Italian sub bread. So good. A hit with the kiddos. Served these in boats with a paper lining. Easy cleanup. Link in the bio.

There is a new restaurant in Cypress, Aji Izakaya. My husband and I stopped in with our teenager for lunch last Friday. @aji_izakaya_cypress
Aji Izakaya serves delicious Japanese food. Aji blends their passion for making delicious food with their extensive knowledge of Japanese cuisine to create authentic and classic dishes for your enjoyment.
The restaurant decor gives you the feeling that you have been whisk away to Japan.
Here’s what we tried:

* Sweet chili chicken karaage - fried chicken thighs with sweet chili sauce and sesame seeds. This dish was incredible!!
* Gyoza were delicious
* Sizzling Bulgogi Kimchi Marinade beef sauteed with kimchi and gochujang this sizzling beef dish was very tasty. My only complaint was that the kimchi should have been in smaller pieces. But the dish was really good.
* My husband ordered the lunch sushi special. The Sushi chef chooses for you, it comes with salmon rolls and his choice and an egg roll, gyozas and salad.
* Our teenager ordered the Ramen lunch special, Spicy Miso Ramen. Really good
Overall the food was superb. The service was decent. The vibe of the restaurant was really nice. It felt like we were in Japan. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Handel’s is a family owned business that serves homemade ice cream that’s made fresh daily.
Here’s what we tried:
* Banana Split
* Blue Monster on a chocolate dipped cone
* Strawberry cheesecake hurricane (similar to a blizzard)
Everything was delicious. This was some of the best Ice cream we’ve had here in Texas. Be sure to add this to your list dessert shop to your list.

Louisiana fish fry is making it easy for you on game day with their Chicken fry batter. The batter is already seasoned and easy to use. We added a little more seasoning because we like it SPICY but this was so easy to use. @lafishfry

I’m not much of a rice eater but there are some meals that you just can’t eat without rice. It’s just not the same, Shrimp and egg stew is one of those dishes.
Shrimp and egg stew is a warm bowl of goodness. It’s a super easy meal that can be prepared in 20 minutes or so.

If I’m honest I don’t really revisit many restaurants because Houston is so big. We have so many amazing places to eat so I try to patronize as many as I can. But there is one restaurant I tried during a media night and I wanted to bring my husband to try. The Red Chicz has some of the best, tasty, crispy chicken I’ve ever had. I took my husband to lunch there last week and it was as good as I remembered.
My top items are the Fried jumbo Shrimp with glow seasoning and comeback sauce. The cheese curds with glow seasoning. Don’t sleep on the chipotle corn ribs 🔥. Of course the chicken tenders with spark seasoning with comeback sauce or the chipotle ranch. The food, the service and the staff is amazing! Go check them out. @theredchickz
