Lasagna Soup Bowls

There are some evenings we return home late. Whether is because of a Basketball game or Taekwondo. Some days I need a quick meal to serve my crew. I’m not big on fast food, so I try my best to prepare something hearty and tasty at home.

Who doesn’t love a good soup. I fancied up the soup by serving the soup in a bread bowl.

H-E-B has a delicious Lasagna soup with turkey sausage. This is so easy. Heat and serve in a garlic butter bowl.

Oxtails with Marukan Vinegar

A new collaboration means a new recipe. Marukan Vinegar is “rice vinegar that plays an important role by adding bright, tangy notes, adding flavor to any dish, enhancing flavors of other ingredients as well as balancing sweet, salty, fatty and acidic components of a recipe”. Oxtails is a dish we grew up eating. It’s still one of the most requested dishes in our house with my family. Oxtails can be fatty, so I decided to marinate the oxtails in the Marukan Vinegar that has no sodium or sugar. As well as marinate veggies to top the dish with.

One of my favorite things about being a Blogger/Content Creator is attending Media events. Now let me say not all Media events are created equally, but there are some that are amazing, over the top, informative and creative. I’ve been too quite a few amazing Media events both locally and via my travel collaborations.

Let me tell you this Girls Who Grill event that I attended a few weeks ago didn’t disappoint. This event was organized, well planned, fun, creative and was a whole vibe.

Salt and Vinegar Shrimp

Salt and Vinegar Chips is one of my favorite chips. During my last trips to the grocery store, I picked up a bag. Well I had the bright idea to use the salt and vinegar chips like a panko to fry my shrimp. Yeah that’s what I said, Salt and Vinegar Shrimp.

It’s Fry-Day so we decided to Fry up some shrimp. These poboys were delicious. A twist on our classic shrimp poboys which is very popular back home at this time of year, because it’s Lent Season.

Crispy Chicken Bowls

I love getting my kids involved when I’m preparing meals or planning my menus.

I was talking with them about this dish that I wanted to create. My Crispy Chicken bowl is a playoff of the popular KFC Famous chicken bowl.

My teenager loves spicy chips. She had a bag of funyuns and wanted to make spicy chicken nuggets instead of the regular crispy chicken. I was like cool deal, let’s try it.

Steak in a Pizza Oven

I purchased this Grizzler pan for the OONI Pizza oven. The Grizzler pan is made of cast iron.  The Cast-iron pan with ridged surface is great for grilling meat, vegetables and more. Designed to fit all Ooni oven models. This pan is also ideal for use on all indoor cooktops or outdoor grills. Included is removable handle and beechwood serving board. I decided to change things up with the preparation of the steak, I used a brand new kitchen item. This grizzler pan is awesome.

Cajun Collard Green & Cabbage

I have a confession, I’m not much of a vegetable eater? I know, I know, yes I need vegetables. But I have a few that I like. Collard greens are an excellent source of vitamin A, C, and calcium. In addition, rich in vitamin K, and a good source of iron, vitamin B-6, and magnesium. Collard greens are very good for you. This is something that I do eat.

Cabbage is a good source of Vitamin C, high in fiber and Vitamin K.

Collard greens + Cabbage = a very nutritious dish.

Today I’m sharing my Cajunified Collard Greens and cabbage dish.

Very simple and easy to make.
